She might be called DJ Shortee, but she is one of the biggest names in the scratch circuit. She's also Playboy's official tour DJ, which means she's used her music to drive A-listers into a dancing frenzy. And just because she's played for Hugh Hefner doesn't mean she lives on looks alone. Her DJ skills have made her the only female to produce an instructional DJ DVD series, the only female featured in Doug Pray's Palm Pictures film "SCRATCH" & the only female ever to win the national Fever Buzz Battle of the DJs.

Often Licensing her tracks to the media Shortee's tracks have appeared on various video games, DVDs & television networks, such as ESPN, NBC, MTV, CNN, with events including the X-Games & the World Cup.

On Thursday May 12th, Castle Promotions presents DJ Shortee at Dea nightclub.

The reason I brought her to Macon is because I want Macon to experience what a good female scratch DJ sounds like," says promoter Amar Mokha. "So many people here in the South don't believe that a female DJ is just as good as a guy." DJ Shortee will take the turntables at 11pm.
