The XIII soundtrack, is the result of a year long collaboration between renowned San Francisco-based rare groove & funk collective, Future Primitive Sound, and leading worldwide videogame publisher, Ubi Soft Entertainment.

The popular shooter game XIII is an epic thriller set in a highly stylized graphic novel world starring voices by David Duchovny as XIII, Eve as Major Jones, and Adam West as General Carrington.

By fusing the espionage style of Ubi Soft's XIII with an arsenal of conceptualized 70's style Funk tracks, vanguard DJs Faust & Shortee, Romanowski, Z Trip, J Boogie, Zeph, Jack Dangers, Tino Corp, Swat & Bing Ji Ling have reached a new level of harmony between gaming, spinning & producing.

Veteran tablists and visionary party rockers, Faust & Shortee combine all the musical efforts to create a CD which tells the story of XIII, rocks any party in true Future Prim style and showcases the music of this forward thinking collective.

Mixed & scratched on Final Scratch, Faust and Shortee fuse soulful Funk beats, backspin rugged drumbreaks & chop up actual dialogue from the XIII game.

"We wanted to create an audible storyline which put listeners right there in the game, so we used vocal snippets & sound effects from the game to create the scenes that represented pivotal points of the story," states Shortee.

"The music was perfect because it all had that Funk element with heavy breaks so we just arranged it according to the mood we wanted to convey and built the mix to cover all the bases, flow for listening and energy for the party, " adds Faust.

The result of this combustible collaboration is The XIII Soundtrack - killer cuts that serve up some of the toughest new beats in turntablism today.

Based on Belgium's finest comic book export entitled Code XIII, this new game adaptation jolts intense new life into the infamous conspiracy classic, adding hyper-retro visual style and rampant gunplay into the mix.
What lies inside XIII is a deadly quest not only in America's darkest corridors of power, but into the shadowy past of a man known only as XIII. Stricken with amnesia and pinned as the prime suspect in the President's assassination, XIII must survive long enough to answer two questions: What is the truth behind his part in the President's death, and can he destroy the sinister forces pulling the strings?

XIII
Known only by the Roman numerals XIII tattooed on his shoulder, the enigmatic XIII finds himself as the prime suspect in the killing of U.S. president William Sheridan. Suffering from amnesia, XIII forms an alliance with General Carrington & Major Jones in order to uncover the truth about his identity, as well as his role in the president's death.



CARRINGTON
The Interservice Chief of Staff at the Pentagon, Carrington is a decorated war veteran & a firebrand within the military community. When William Sheridan was assassinated, he decided to conduct his own, unauthorized investigation to hunt down the killer - a bold move which landed him in a military stockade.

MONGOOSE
A feared hit man operating under orders from the shadow organization known as "The Twenty" - the same elusive group whole General Carrington suspects as the engineers behind the president's death. The Mongoose commands an army of henchmen, with one sole mission: eliminate XIII at all costs.




JONES
General Carrington's protégé & confidential assistant, the talented Major Jones is at once a deadly beauty & crack Air Force test pilot. Jones' latest assignment is to aid, inform, & protect XIII as he infiltrates the corrupt power structure of the U.S. government. Beyond these duties, Jones hides a secret motive for helping XIII.



SHERIDAN
The impassioned brother of President William Sheridan. In a moving speech, Wally announced his mission to continue in his bother's footsteps as the leader of the free world. A member of the budget commission in Congress, Sheridan uses his status to help XIII penetrate high-security areas.

AMOS
Veteran commando from the first Arab-Israeli war. Now, as the director of the FBI's anti-terrorist initiative, Colonel Amos leads the official inquiry into the president's death, He wages an all out hunt for XIII after he discovers an amateur film of the assassination, & positively identifies XIII as the trigger man.
